Our QualiKita-certified daycares have ensured the highest quality standards in childcare for years.

Chinderdschungel daycare has been QualiKita certified since 2013.
Camäleon has been QualiKita certified since 2014.
Chinderhuus daycare in Baden successfully passed its audit in April 2019.
Zauberdrache daycare in Dättwil also successfully passed its audit in September 2019.
Villa Tortuga has also been included since 2020.
Wichtelburg successfully passed its audit in June 2022.
Zwärgehuus, WirnaKids, and Tschitta have also been included since 2023.
Since the end of 2024, CenterKids and Müüsliburg have also been certified QualiKitas.

The nationwide quality label for childcare centers

The high quality of offerings in early childhood education, care, and upbringing is crucial for the positive development of children. That is why QualiKita promotes quality development in daycare centers. Parents and children benefit in a certified daycare center from a professional environment for the well-being of the children.

Consciously choosing a daycare – QualiKita promotes transparency.

Daycare centers on the edge of the forest, in charming villas or in modern office complexes, the variety is great. But what lies beneath the surface? Do the caregivers address the needs of the child, and what does the collaboration with parents look like? To create more transparency, the Jacobs Foundation and the kibesuisse association have developed the quality label QualiKita. The label makes quality visible and highlights the unique features and strengths of an excellent daycare center in the transparency report. This way, parents can make a well-informed and conscious decision for a daycare center.

The first years are crucial.

Aus der internationalen Forschung ist bekannt, dass die frühe Kindheit grundlegenden Einfluss bis ins Erwachsenenalter hat. Gehen die Betreuerinnen und Betreuer einer Kita auf die Bedürfnisse der Kinder ein, kann sich dies wesentlich auf deren Entwicklung auswirken. Die Qualität einer Kindertagesstätte ist entscheidend und sorgt dafür, dass das Kind sozial und emotional ausgeglichen in den Kindergarten oder die Schule übertreten kann.

The focus of QualiKita is on the child and its positive development. The scientific basis for the quality label was developed by the University Center for Early Childhood Education in Fribourg under the direction of Prof. Dr. Margrit Stamm.
